EXECUTIVE PROTECTION OPERATIVE

Course Overview

This course is offered as a full -time 6 day (10 hours per day) or as a 14 evening** course (4 hours per class meeting).  This highly comprehensive course will teach students to effectively protect clients in a professional setting.

 

Executive protection, also known as close protection, refers to security and risk mitigation measures taken to ensure the safety of VIPs or other individuals who may be exposed to elevated personal risk because of their employment, high-profile status, net worth, affiliations or geographical location.

**The night course is offered every evening 18:00-22:00, except Saturdays.  Please note that an 8 hour day will be required on either a Saturday or Sunday for weapons qualification.  Employ NV, or other state's employment divisions, may pay for some, or all, of this course.

Cost

$1200 (includes the use of all training equipment, as well as firearms and ammunition.

PREREQUISITES

Must possess basic knowledge firearms and their safe handling. Applicant
must have at least one year experience in the security field (mil/LE/sec).
