OUR FOUNDER

Mr. Benbenisty is a veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces, serving in their Special Forces before relocating to the United States and starting CRI in 2000.  While in the IDF, Mr. Benbenisty served as a Counter Terrorism Instructor as well as being part of the Mista'arvim Units.  Mista'arvim operators serve undercover and are specifically trained to assimilate among the local Arab population.  Doron also created the first ever Counter Suicide Bomber and Car Bomb program while serving in the IDF. This program is currently in use in Israel today as a counter measure to suicide bombing.

Given his extensive background in counter terrorism, he decided to create CRI to offer his knowledge to thousands from all branches of the military, including Special Forces, as well as several government agencies in countering terrorism, drug interdiction, shooting, tactical driving, counter IED's (improvised explosive devises), counter sniper and much more.  He has also instructed this training to law enforcement (including SWAT and SRT units), executive protection agents and bodyguards, security, and civilians.

Doron is now also an instructor for CRI's Professional and Tactical Drone Pilot programs and is Part 107 certified as a Small Unmanned Aircraft System pilot.   He is the writer and chief developer of all of CRI’s programs. In addition, Doron has authored several books such as, Tactical Drone Pilot, Professional Drone Pilot, How to Defeat a Bully, Dealing with Difficult People, Home Invasion Survival and Deter, Detect, Defend: The 3D Approach to Workplace Violence.  In addition, he has also created several video training programs:  Active Shooter, Workplace Violence, Terrorism and Attack Defense, Home & Business Owner Protection, Krav Haganah Defensive Tactics and Tactical Folding Knife.

OUR MISSION

CRI has been in business since October 2000, before the War on Terrorism began. There were no other schools like ours during that time and most Americans didn't really see a need, that is until September 11. After that terrible event, the US and much of the world woke up to the need for this type of training. Even before September 11th, CRI was giving comprehensive instruction to military, law enforcement, dignitary protection, private security, civilians, professional bodyguards and federal agencies in the Israeli Method of training for combat and peacekeeping situations. CRI, headed by Doron Benbenisty, offers unique methods of training for countering terrorism, guerrilla warfare, and severe crime. Our sole purpose is to provide the most tactically realistic training possible, no matter if the student is Special Forces or a teacher. We understand that when our trainees leave our school they may only have one chance to, “get it right” in a hostile situation.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to continue to be one of the most trusted companies contributing to the security and freedom of our nation and its allies. As a counter-terrorism training leader, we continue to develop new methods of combating modern terrorism that we face nationally and internationally. As a vocational school, it is our goal to continue to make a positive impact on our students' lives and livelihood. As a result, we have branched out into the tech field with regard to drone and cyber security training.

THE SCHOOL

C.R.I. Counter Terrorism Training School is a vocational school licensed to operate by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education.  CRI is also approved to accept Nevada State Workforce benefits for a number of our courses. We offer a wide variety of courses, with many more to come. Since starting operations in 2000, CRI has earned numerous commendations for its excellence in training. We accomplished this by using advanced methods with superior instructors that enable the level of training to be as close to reality as possible.

"We have one goal – to save lives in any situation, anywhere"
