Israeli  Anti-Terrorism Training School


 

Duration:  6 days

Location:  Las Vegas, Nevada

Course Summary:  This course is designed for individuals and organizations involved with conducting surveillance. Military personnel, Private Investigators, and civilian security contractors will learn the Israeli method of surveillance and counter surveillance. This course is 75% hands on accompanied by lectures that focus on the Israeli techniques used in conducting a moving or stationary surveillance. Many of the techniques instructed in this course are used by elite Israeli Special Forces conducting clandestine operations into hostile enemy territories.

Surveillance:

  

Types of surveillance (mobile, discreet, fixed, technical, cold delivery vs. controlled delivery)

Surveillance phases (pickup, follow, housing)

Urban and rural, foot, mobile & static surveillance methods (map reading, use of cover, switched on/switched off, use of vehicles, dress and mannerisms)

Recognizing surveillance vantage points, choke points and weaknesses of routes and installations

Controlled visits at various sites (periods of time, controlling the site, controlled visit)

Surveillance driving

Driving patterns in convert operations

Team dynamics (team work, duties of individual team members, coordination)

Night surveillance

 

Counter-Surveillance:

  

Use of cover

Covert and overt counter surveillance and surveillance deterrence

Losing surveillance by foot or vehicle

Counter surveillance routes

  

Surveillance Detection:

  

Israeli method of surveillance detection

Flow chart, color system, recording machine, optical means and computers as support.

Briefing:

Purpose and aim of operation planning

Operation briefing (introduction of the team and establishing readiness)

Planning and executing counter surveillance operations

Establishing a detail security procedures (standard, emergency)

Disarming a suicide bomber before detonation

Functioning in abduction situations

Countering enemy snipers and sharpshooters

Protection from and functioning under Molotov Cocktail attacks

Case studies on terrorist tactics from Israel

   

   


   

Student-Provided Recommended Equipment:  Notebook, pen and pencil, sunscreen, hydration system, shooting glasses, ear protection, appropriate clothing for seasonal inclement weather (hot, cold, rain or snow), weapons cleaning kit, (knit cap and brimmed) hat, knee and elbow pads, hiking or tactical boots, pants with cargo pockets, shooting gloves, tinted glasses, multi tool, range bag, and thumb drive for class photos.  (No camouflaged clothing please.)

 

Provided by CRI:  Course materials, weapons (when part of the course - Glock 17 & AR-15), 600 rounds, meals during training, ear and eye protection, soft body armor, knee and elbow pads, holsters.

 

Prerequisites that must be completed PRIOR to beginning the Training Course: Due to the extensive nature of the training during this course, a thorough background investigation will be conducted on all persons registering.  CRI School reserves the right to require any trainee to undergo a polygraph test administered by CRI regarding any possible affiliation to a terrorist and or criminal organization. Persons who are convicted felons, have a documented history of mental illness, or have been convicted of domestic violence crimes (misdemeanor or felony) need not apply.
